britt munoz  Brittany Munoz, from Laurel, Del., is a fan of Cage the Elephant because they do not sound like most bands on the radio.

When did you start listening to Cage the Elephant?

I started listening to Cage The Elephant when “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked” came out, I am not sure when that was though.

What makes Cage the Elephant so great?

I was attracted to them because at the time they did not sound like most bands on local radio stations, they have their own style of doing things and are a very energetic band.

What is your favorite song by Cage the Elephant?

Some of my favorite songs are Back Against the Wall, James Brown, Ain’t No Rest for The Wicked, Come A Little Closer, Flow, Aberdeen, Around My Head, Right Before My Eyes, and Cigarette Daydream (that’s a lot I know!).

Do you think Cage the Elephant deserves to be up higher on the lineup list?

Cage the Elephant did move up the list I saw and is on the Main Stage this year which is awesome!

Are you going to Firefly this year to see Cage the Elephant?

I am not going to Firefly this year because I am not familiar with enough of the bands in the lower line-ups to justify spending that money. Last year there were so many bands I wanted to see headlining and further down the list I had to pick and choose. This year I was rather disappointed and chose to sell my ticket.

Have you seen Cage the Elephant perform before?

I was able to see them live last year at Firefly when they came on to perform Radioactive with Imagine Dragons. I did not get to see their full performance though because CTE and ID played around the same time. Since we wanted to see ID and other bands on the main stage we decided to stayed there. The performance they did together was AWESOME though and FULL of energy!

Do you think Cage the Elephant will be a huge fan favorite at Firefly this year?

I definitely think they’ll be a favorite and hopefully more people will discover what a great band they are.

Follow Cage the Elephant on Twitter and Facebook, and check out their Soundcloud.
